...and tonight may be the night I get to buy one! I have been trying for 2 months to get one. Every time I call a store they are sold out or they did not get a shipment. In the newspaper ads I saw a store advertising the sale of them. They go on sale March 30. I am here in the store now waiting till Midnight, which technically is March 30. I have less than 4 hours to go. The truck is unloading stuff now!  If you are in the area or have nothing better to do, come on over. Am I allowed to say the store name? Well it starts with Wal and ends with mart. By Shepherd road in Lakeland.  So far I am the only person and I have been here for 1 hour. Hope this is not a waste of my time - I will check with staff in a bit to make sure. They already know I am here waiting.

UPDATE: It is now 1:43 am and I have my Wii set up! Yes, that is correct, arriving at 7:30 pm paid off. However, I could have shown up at 10pm and been just fine. After all that is when the second person showed up. By Midnight only 8 people were in line to buy a Wii. More later I'm tired, after all I just had to play (and it is late)!

On a side note - Google is participating in Earth Hour, will you?  (update - 1:45am- justed checked on this, Google has gone back to the 'normal' home page)



Other Countries participating in Earth Hour - not sure what the official home page for this is (as I got 9,990,000 google results), but I got the list from Earth Hour 2008. They don't say offical sponsor but it looks good to me. It would be great to do this again on 8/8/08 at 8pm.
